AMR - Automatic Meter Reading

Gibson County Utility District is always exploring new options to provide better customer service. We have found one great way to do just that. GCUD began in August 2007 a program to read your meter by Radio Frequency.

This conversion to AMR will provide better customer service by:

• Improving our ability to timely and accurately read your meter.

• Reduce the cost of manual meter reading.

• Improve the time between meter reading and billing.

• Improve the safety of GCUD personnel and GCUD customers.
